Hey,

i know it's been a couple of weeks since the last entry but we were really busy. I got a final examination in about 2 weeks and because of that i have to spend my whole free time with studying books. But there is still Michael who holds on the support.

So i have to excuse the way to late release of version 2 of the www.fsphost.com webpage. There are only some damn small issues to fix. We promise that the new version will be released in july. Hopefully you all like it.

We will contact alll beta user who emailed me and we'll provide a short testing phase.

recently i discovered the Debian Package of the Day website. I suggest everybody of you to take a look around that page daily.

Debian users are writing about their favourite packages and what makes them so special. This is great to get in touch with software that was locked down in the deep crates of aptitude and apt-cache search .

you got something installed, e.g. the apache webserver and try to add users for authentification with the htpasswd tool (it ships with apache), but your lovely shell allways says something like Command not found.

lately i had to secure some development stuff from being viewed by others. I had to do it quickly so i choose to do it with a simple .htaccess file. Here's how i did.

It is really great to see the daily comments and rising visits of the blog. The given feedback really pushes us to keep doing all the hard development stuff.

But we still need your help. You know what you want and what you don't so get up and help us improve the new site. We need you to test the new site and to give us feedback what you think about the new design, functionality and content. Because of this, we will give out some testing accounts for those who will holla at us (some already did).
